UA92 is backed by Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs, Phil Neville, Nicky Butt and Paul Scholes as well as Lancaster University
Gary Neville has unveiled a new business school under the UA92 project he fronts alongside other ex-Manchester United stars - and they plan to expand across the North in the coming years.
"We actively attract young learners who wouldn't ordinarily go to university. We go out into the most economically deprived communities, we work in those communities, we build trust, we build a rapport. "The second is around the fact that our degrees are very employer led. We work with over 80 industry partners and we co-create a curriculum together so that the learners are learning what the businesses want.
"The degree gets you to the interview, and what gets you the job are those behavioural competencies, and our industry partners helped to bring those to life in the world of work. I think that also makes us very different in the way that the employer content is so embedded at the heart of what we do."
