Actor Paddy Bever’s character Max Turner is currently at the centre of the Lauren Bolton mystery on Coronation Street, but while he may play a troubled teen on screen, his real life is very different from his character’s.
It’s still a mystery for now, but with Max in the spotlight on the cobbles, we take a look at actor Paddy Bever’s life away from Coronation Street. In an interview with Manchester Evening News, Paddy said that he auditioned for the role when he was still studying for his A levels. “I had an A level the next day so I made the decision not to revise for the A level and focus on the tape. I then didn’t hear anything for a month so I presumed I hadn’t got it and then I got called for a screen test which was so exciting,” he said.
