The Britain's Got Talent judge, 52, and the Northampton comic, Carr, 46, spent three months transforming the property into one stunning holiday villa - Casa Alamanda., with the home now on the market. The proceeds for the furnished two-bedroom, two-bathroom holiday home will be split between Comic Relief and Children In Need.
The duo discovered the property, purchased for just one euro, half an hour from the capital city of Palermo. It had been used by squatters and left abandoned, filled with rubbish and broken furniture. Over a span of three months, Alan and Amanda knocked down walls, plastered, wallpapered and helped lay floors and tiles. They chose all the decor and furnishings for Casa Alamanda,The home is now on the market for a guide price of €145,000, with a 1,399 sq. ft. footprint. Air conditioning and a veranda are also perks of the property.
