Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren as Jacob and Cara Dutton on '1923'
For the last seven years, audiences have been graced with the decades-spanning story of the Dutton Family. Kicking off in 2018 with the phenomenon that was Yellowstone, the series later expanded its Western roots with two prequel series, the Sam Elliott-starring miniseries, 1883, and the follow-up series, 1923, which is soon returning for its second season.

Below is a brief synopsis of 1923 season 2's plot. Helen Mirren portrays Cara Dutton, wife of Jacob and the matriarch of the Yellowstone ranch. Originally from Ireland, Cara married Jacob around the events of the 1883 miniseries, moving to Montana with Jacob around the late 1890s.
Michelle Randolph portrays Elizabeth 'Liz' Strafford, the fiancée of Jack Dutton and the daughter of fellow rancher Bob Strafford.
