Queensland has made a pair of shock selection calls, while one luckless star vows to make life difficult for a Wallaby on his return.
The absence of a Wallabies star was all the invitation Isaac Henry needed to announce his emphatic return to the Queensland Reds’ fold from a tumultuous period of injuries.
“But it also taught me a lot about myself and about this team, and how much I’m super grateful and proud to be a Queenslander and put on this jersey. “We don’t want the TMO coming in for every moment, no way . but if there’s something as late as that, that has to be looked at properly. “He had a bad shoulder, a little bit of a neck from it for sure, but he’s fine. I think he had 20 minutes before I actually played him in the first game, so . he’s not fully fit in terms of his aerobic ability yet,” Kiss said.
