Figures released by Statistics South Africa on Wednesday showed that CPI increased to 4.1% in February year on year from 4% year on year in January, mainly because of the increased cost of transport and insurance. Linked to vehicle operating expenses, the cost of insurance went up by 6.8% compared with February last year.
