While jobs are seemingly plentiful, some residents are saying it is hard to be optimistic due to the price of goods nowhere near falling to pre-pandemic pricing.
The latest Texas jobs report has state leaders giddy, but for some neighbors, there's no reason to celebrate yet.
"Everywhere you go, that's all they're talking about," Larry Jacobs said. "You go in the store. They went up on this. They went up on that." ABC13 asked top state economic leaders on Friday about any concerns about the local economy going backward.
