David Malukas touched wheels with Santino Ferucci entering Turn 1, then lost control and hit the outside wall.
Malukas was released from the medical care facility and he said he suffered a"small bruise."
"For some reason he turned back down. I held my line," Malukas said while watching a replay of the contact."My tire went flat. Not much you can do with a flat tire." "I just checked up and thought I did that really well, but I didn't," he said."It's my mistake."
