This summer Bally's Atlantic City will celebrate craft bee in new venue.

$100 million makeover that includes property-wide renovations to hotel rooms, suites, and its lobby bar, a new indoor outdoor entertainment venue will open this summer just steps off the boardwalk.

The idea came from Phil Juliano, executive vice president of casino operations and chief marketing officer at Bally’s Corporation, who took the concept from the beer halls in cities like Philadelphia and New York that have become popular over the years. A large bar will feature 24 craft beer selections to choose from. “We’re going to celebrate American craft beer,” said Phil’s son, Paul Juliano, senior vice president of operations at Bally’s Corporation.

The transition to the outside will be through a retractable glass wall where Paul said people will find their moment of zen.The glass structure will have operable 10 foot garage door panels that open on four sides, vaulted ceilings more than 30 feet high with retractable panels that will create a large sunroof effect. Inside will be another bar and seating similar to the indoor portion.
