CORONAVIRUS | Four deaths have been recorded with a total of 69 cases reported as of Friday including two toddlers.
| Indonesia’s capital city will close all schools and ordered remote teaching for at least two weeks starting next week to curb the spread of the coronavirus, Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan said on Saturday.
Baswedan said out of 69 confirmed coronavirus cases nationwide, an unspecified number of people were detected in many places across Jakarta, a city of 10 million people. “Children, based on data, not many of them have been infected with Covid-19, but they are carriers and they spread the virus from one adult to another,” he said in a news conference.
