JAKARTA: The Covid-19 (coronavirus) cases in Indonesia rose by 479 within one day to 22,750, with the death toll adding by 19 to 1,391, Achmad Yurianto, a Health Ministry official, said at a press conference on Monday (May 25) as the govt released new guidelines at working premises.

The Covid-19 National Task Force's Chief Doni Monardo said people who are travelling in the country must show medical certificates proving that they had gone through either rapid tests or polymerase chain reaction tests for the COVID-19. "If a person can't show the certificate, authorities will require the person to return to his or her departure point," he stated.

The Government Regulation requires all workplaces, except those in essential sectors, to be temporarily shut down in areas enacting the PSBB.
