Indonesia, Malaysia seek solution on issue of illegal workers

The meeting, held at the Malaysian Immigration headquarters in Putrajaya on Tuesday, was attended by the Director General of Immigration Malaysia Ruslin Jusoh and his counterpart Silmy Karim. His side is ready to issue passports to illegal workers who are working and suggested that Malaysian Immigration issue work permits until they have complete documents.
Malaysia has repatriated 11,000 Indonesian workers, and a total of 309 Indonesians are still at the Malaysian Immigration detention depot.
