Indonesia economy sees weakest growth in 20 years

INDONESIA’S economy in the first quarter grew at its slowest pace in almost two decades, and economists today warned that the coronavirus crisis will likely deal an even greater blow in the next three months. The news comes as governments around the world struggle to contain the deadly disease that has essentially shut down the global economy, which is expected to fall into recession this year.
