Versiti Blood Center, Indiana's primary blood provider, is urging residents to donate blood as the state faces a critical shortage. Severe weather and a rise in illnesses have significantly reduced blood donations, leaving the center with less than a day's supply of essential blood types like O positive, O negative, and B negative. Donors are highlighting the life-saving impact of blood donations, sharing their personal stories of how donations have helped them in emergencies.
