OnePlus Open, the company’s first-ever foldable smartphone has been in the rumour mills for a while and is rumoured for release on 19 October. In fact, the foldable has actually been spotted out in the wild, being used by Indian actress Anushka Sharma.
As shared by SlashLeaks, the Bollywood star can be seen using the OnePlus Open while inside a car. From the looks of things, the whole ‘leak’ is rather staged as Sharma seems to be purposely showing off the upcoming foldable to the paparazzi. As OnePlus is a big brand in India and the country would potentially be one of the first markets to officially get the device, we won’t be surprised if this was just a guerrilla marketing tactic by the tech firm.
Nevertheless, the footage and photos do show the OnePlus Open in real life, revealing its design, which matches with previous leaks. Of course, do take this with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed yet, so do stay tuned to TechNave for the latest developments on this and for more tech news.
