Nationals MP Matt Canavan says if Australia doesn’t supply India with coal, then India will turn to the Russians for its “voracious demand” of energy.

“For India, they are growing, they are developing, they’re going to need a lot more coal,

they’re building 50 coal-fired power stations,” Mr Canavan told Sky News host Paul Murray.
