That means that she represents all of Alaska, and so that includes even people that disagree with me.” The Alaska Democratic Party endorsed Peltola during the campaign last year. Executive Director Lindsay Kavanaugh said in an emailed statement the party platform supports the Second Amendment, responsible gun ownership and “legislative action that would ban the sale of military assault-style weapons to the general public.”
