The organisers behind one Co Antrim bonfire are helping fundraising efforts for a sick local girl

The Craigyhill Bonfire Committee have since redirected their fundraising efforts towards a local toddlerThe decision was made following a committee meeting last month after the builders heard about the struggles of young Pia Grace from Larne, who is going through difficult cancer treatment.The Eleventh Night is the busiest date for the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service which usually deals with hundreds of calls related to bonfires.
Ranging in size from 10ft to 150ft, the bonfires have seen people if all ages chip in to create them, with some having to be manned permanently to protect them from rivals.
