Gardens remain flooded as high water levels begin to recede after Storm Babet flooded homes, business and roads in Retford.warnings for heavy rain between 3am and 4pm on Tuesday, which could lead hit the east Midlands, much of Yorkshire, and Humberside. A yellow warning has also been issued for parts of south west Wales, where the deluge is predicted from 5pm on Monday until just before midnight.
Derbyshire Police said a woman in her 80s was found dead at a home in Chesterfield, central England. Her death was being linked to flooding in the area.
