Holocaust Remembrance Day starts Wednesday night and ends Thursday. Yom Hashoah is set aside to observe the memory of the 6 million Jewish victims of the Holocaust. Throughout the year, the museum works with educators in educating students about the Holocaust, offering online resources and an events calendar.In 1943, during the Warsaw ghetto uprising, Glauben and his family were captured by Nazi forces and the family was deported to the Majdanek extermination camp in Lublin, Poland.
