More than a week before their season openers, the football programs at UTSA and Texas State already have made history. Their current odds to play for a national championship are, to be mathematically specific, greater than zero. That’s a new record. If it’s an infinitesimal sliver of a shot, it’s a sliver more than ever existed before.
