Josh Shapiro sat down with WGAL's Tom Lehman on Friday, hours after signing a $47.6 billion budget for the fiscal year that began on July 1, for a conversation that discussed the impact of the spending plan, the 2024 presidential race , and even the new license plate unveiled earlier this week.
'But he said voters have a fundamental choice and he has clear thoughts about one candidate.'I think Donald Trump is an existential threat to this commonwealth and this country. He's a person who's taken away our freedoms and threatens to bring chaos into people's lives,' he said.Shapiro has not joined the growing chorus of Democrats nationwide who have called on President Joe Biden to drop his candidacy as the party's nominee in the 2024 election.
