KENS 5 reporter Hannah Tiede was out in Boerne today capturing all the magical moments from the Great American Solar Eclipse.
BOERNE, Texas — From day to dark in minutes. On Monday, thousands of people took in the total solar eclipse in the Texas Hill Country.
“We are hoping for those clouds to move,” said Kathy Garske, who was visiting from Wisconsin. “We are not exactly eclipse chasers, but we enjoy them very much.”“Mary and I grew up together in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and we got to see when we were seven,” Garske said.“It feels spiritual in a way,” said Garske. “It puts you in contact with the heavens sort of.”
