In Cebu City, COVID19 patients stay fit to fight the virus
MANILA – To reduce the risk of getting severely ill with COVID-19, some patients in Cebu City are trying to stay active while being in quarantine.
“Gusto ko pong malaman ng lahat na hindi lahat ng COVID-19 patient ay kritikal at matamlay,” he told ABS-CBN News. In a bid to ward off stigma surrounding the illness, he also revealed that his parents and younger siblings have also contracted COVID-19. As they entered the fifth day of quarantine, Genares is hopeful they would be able to ride out the illness.
