While users can no longer see who liked someone else’s post, it confirmed a post’s author can see who liked their own. The data showed the amount of likes on posts gradually climbing in the hours following the announcement.X Director of Engineering Haofei Wang had hinted at the update on May 21, saying public likes were “incentivising the wrong behaviour”.
