: Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia menahan 43 pendatang tanpa izin dan seorang majikan rakyat tempatan dalam serbuan di sebuah tapak projek perumahan di Kluang, Jumaat lepas.

Beliau berkata mereka yang ditahan terdiri daripada 34 lelaki rakyat Bangladesh dan sembilan warga Indonesia termasuk empat wanita berumur dalam lingkungan 21 hingga 49 tahun. Beliau berkata warga asing yang ditahan itu dipercayai melakukan kesalahan di bawah Peraturan 17 Peraturan-Peraturan Imigresen 1963, Seksyen 6 dan Seksyen 15 Akta Imigresen 1959/63 .

Mohd Rusdi berkata operasi itu melibatkan bahagian penguatkuasaan JIM serta Pejabat Imigresen Kluang dan turut disertai penguat kuasa cawangan Batu Pahat, Segamat dan Muar.
