Iman said she thinks about Bowie “every day and every minute.”
Although her beloved husband and global icon David Bowie died over 6 years ago, Iman said she thinks about him “every day and every minute.”, the model — who married the “Ziggy Stardust” singer in 1992 — says she hopes to see him again.
“If there is an afterlife, I’d like to see my husband again,” the 67-year-old said. “That’s the one I want.” “I have a necklace I’m wearing under here that has his name on it… I’ve worn it since that first week after David passed away,” Iman said, adding, “I think of him all the time.”Elsewhere in the interview, Iman said it annoys her when people refer to Bowie as her “late husband.”
“Don’t call my husband ‘late.’ He’s not my late husband. He’s my husband,” she said. “And he’ll always be.”“I think if you’re lucky, you’ll experience something like that, you know what I mean? It’s luck, and I was lucky,” Iman said of the pair’s once-in-a-lifetime love.
