Ilona Maher shared how her armpits get a seamless finish before performing on ‘Dancing With the Stars’
Maher, 28, revealed just how her armpits stay flawless on Dancing With the Stars, whether you were wondering or not. The Olympic athlete shared a hilarious video via Instagram on Thursday, October 17, of a glam team going to town on her pits before hitting the dance floor with pro Alan Bersten on Tuesday, October 15, episode.
In the video, she raised her eyebrows and smiled at the camera as a team of makeup artists blended bronzer into the crease of her arm to create an airbrushed finish before she slayed a Rumba to “My Way' by Yseult.Fans were quick to laugh with Maher in the comments section. “This gives ‘Pit Crew’ a whole new meaning!” one joked, as a second follower quipped, “It took all of us to learn that famous people bronze their armpits from Ilona. 😂.
Her brunette hair was pinned back in a half-up, half-down hairdo, with the rest of her strands loosely curled. Maher tied her glam together with a full beat, including pink lips and wispy eyelashes. Maher, who dedicated her dance to her Olympic rugby team, scored a total of 32 points out of 40. Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko ended up getting eliminated.
Dancing With the Stars airs simultaneously on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET. The show streams the next day on Hulu and Disney+.
