Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” Marcos III with Gov.
The BPSF in Ilocos Norte was part of the simultaneous national launching of the program led by President Marcos Jr. in Camarines Sur. The other venues were Monkayo, Davao de Oro, led by Vice President Sara Duterte, and Visayas State University spearheaded by House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez. The Department of Social Welfare and Development initially distributed at least P100-million assistance to residents of this province during the first day of the BPSF.
Colico said that the recipients of the payout were validated by the local government units and the DSWD. She is expecting more recipients of AICS on Sunday, September 24.The BPSF in Ilocos Norte will end with thanksgiving concert featuring local bands and artists.
