Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx allegedly made a 'hand gesture' toward the man before he threw the drink.

William Swetz cursed at State's Attorney Foxx while driving as the official was walking near her Flossmoor, Ill. home before she made a “hand gesture” toward him,reported. Swetz purportedly then backed up and threw a drink at her. At some point, State's Attorney Foxx stepped off the road to avoid being hit by Swetz's car, according to
State's Attorney Foxx, a Democrat, has previously been a subject of criminal investigations. In 2022, her husband, Kelley Foxx, told police she slapped him, grabbed his collar and blocked him from leaving the bathroom at their home, according to. Kelley Foxx reportedly said his wife was angry about something he did that appeared on Facebook, leading her to ask him to leave.
What she is saying in her policy is this: We don’t care what traffic code you violated and we don’t care what police officers find after,” Tabares said. “I want to see more traffic stops in my ward, they work.”
