“We want to gather data to find out how this works. I think part of that is gathering data from people who maybe don’t speak English as a first language, maybe have different experiences, different education levels,” she said. “All of those things are important so we can distill that information and figure out how to best implement something like this in the future.
“I can just tell you that this program absolutely will be abused,” he stated. “Working at a drug and alcohol treatment program for 12 years, I’ve seen a lot of abuse with government funds being spent on people’s addictions. I can tell you from experience this money is going to go to things like that.”
“This is coming out of the taxpayer’s pocket.
