A year ago, the early-bird Ikon Pass for 2023-24 was $250 more expensive than the Epic Pass, and the Ikon Base Pass was $153 more than the Epic Local Pass. Epic passes went on sale Tuesday.Ikon passes are good at three dozen U.S. resorts including Aspen Snowmass, Steamboat, Winter Park, Copper Mountain, Arapahoe Basin and Eldora. Epic Passes are good at 42 resorts owned by Vail Resorts including Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Crested Butte in Colorado.
