William and Kate met Bród - the Irish president's famous dog that Harry and Meghan also met in 2018 - when they kicked off their tour of Ireland on Tuesday
Prince William and Kate Middleton visit Irish President Michael Higgins and Sabina Coyne The visit, which is set to take place from Tuesday, 3 March, to Thursday, 5 March, will see the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in Dublin, Country Meath, County Kildare and Galway, to highlight and reinforce links between the UK and Ireland and see the amazing work being done by the Irish.
On their first day, William and Kate met with President Michael D. Higgins and his wife, Sabina Coyne. President Higgins and his love for his doggos are well known – he never goes anywhere without them, according to pet website,And when the president and Mrs Higgins laid a wreath at the Garden of Remembrance with the duke and duchess, so too did Bród.
