Idris Elba has expressed his desire to do a live-action Cyberpunk 2077 movie.The actor, who plays former SpecOps agent Solomon Reed in an expansion for the 2020 sci-fi video game called Phantom Liberty, suggested a cinematic adaptation could be on the cards.Speaking at a press event for Sonic The Hedgehog 3, Elba asked if he would be interested in headlining the movie with Keanu Reeves.'I think Keanu Reeves' character and my character together would be, 'Whoa.
This could be a reimagining of the 2020's game's central plot line, or a completely new spinoff.'I think if any film could do a live-action rendition, it could be ,' Elba offered.It wouldn't be the first time Cyberpunk 2077 expanded its world. 2022 Netflix animation Cyberpunk: Edgerunners followed a young inhabitant of Night City as he attempted to survive the streets by modifying his body with technology enhancements.
