A grand jury indicted Bryan Kohberger for the murder of four University of Idaho students on Wednesday. Kohberger, 28, a criminology graduate student from Washington State University, was charged with four counts of first-degree murder.

Now, the defense can no longer attack the evidence used to arrest Kohberger, and the two surviving housemates and other witnesses will not be cross-examined prior to a trial, Fox News reported.CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER Kohberger was arrested in late December following a monthslong investigation by state and federal law enforcement agencies that used his white Hyundai Elantra vehicle and evidence found in his car and home to connect him to the murders.
Legal counsel for Bethany Funke, one of the two surviving roommates of the victims, fought a subpoena that is compelling her to testify at the original hearing in June. Eventually, Funke agreed to an interview with Kohberger's legal counsel in Reno, Nevada, where she is from. It is unclear now if Funke will appear at the newly scheduled arraignment.
