Idaho investigators were in Salt Lake City to witness interviews regarding allegations of racial slurs directed at a Utah college women’s basketball team.

Idaho investigators were in Salt Lake City on Friday to witness interviews regarding allegations of racial slurs directed at the University of Utah women’s basketball team while they were staying in Coeur d’Alene.
While the incident was reported over a week ago, Hagar said the University of Utah had not given “access” to members of the team until Friday. He would not speculate on why, and the university did not specify either.The person who called 911 to report the slurs — which reportedly occurred in two instances — may not have witnessed the full events, according to Hagar.
Coeur d’Alene police said they have at least one video related to the case, but will not release it, nor will they reveal what it shows.
