A month after four Idaho students were murdered police still have not named a suspect or found the murder weapon. The latest on the investigation:
On Nov. 13, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, Ethan Chapin, 20, and Xana Kernodle, 20, were found dead in an off-campus home. Autopsies determined that the four students were stabbed to death in their sleep in what police called a"targeted attack."and be vigilant as the killer remains at large.s for this investigation. The county coroner said the victims' hands were bagged to preserve any evidence before their bodies were removed from the crime scene.
In a memo obtained by Idaho Education News, university officials said they"hope" students will decide to return to campus for in-person classes after the winter break but that there will also be virtual classes available to students in some departments.
