The 2023 FIA European Drag Racing champion determined to be successful 'on the highest possible level.'
Ida Zetterstrom is in line to hit the track for her debut NHRA Top Fuel event in the U.S. for the Joe Maynard-owned JCM Racing sometime in late summer. For now, it's all about watching, learning, working back at the team's shop, and getting acclimated to life in the U.S. after her move from Finland to Brownsburg, Ind.At JCM Racing, Zetterstrom will team with Tony Schumacher.
I'm used to seeing a little bit wider. It's not bad in anyway, just different.'Zetterstrom is learning the new car in the new surroundings with Schumacher's JCM Racing crew and crew chief Jon Schaffer. In fact, Zetterstom spends her weekdays working and learning the team's race shop.'I have had the opportunity to work with them for a few months, which means I know their routines, and I know how they're doing stuff, and they feel comfortable with me,' she said.
