Fans of the group got some good news this week.

Don Henley sent a shock to the system of fans of the Eagles when he recetly revealed that 2026 might just be the group’s final year performing.Those shows are scheduled for April 10-11. “I think this will probably be it,” Henley said in a recent interview with ‘CBS Sunday Morning’ according to Ultimate Classic Rock. “I feel like were getting toward the end, and that will be fine, too.” The iconic group’s string of shows slated for the Sphere previously only ran through March. The Eagles also have a show scheduled for May 2 at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.The outlet said that Henley was asked why he felt like this might be it, and he said he would like to spend more time with his family.Actress, daughter of rock icon issues plea from hospital bed: ‘In need of a kidney’Legendary rock musician dead at 77: ‘Fought his illness long and hard’ “We see the airports and the hotel room and the venue, and we don’t get out much,” he said. “I’d like to go back to the places I’ve been and see more of those places before it all disappears.”“This is great, this is wonderful, but there are other things,” he said. “There’s just lots of other things to do.” Ultimate Classic Rock noted that the Eagles split in 1980 before reuniting in 1994. Glenn Frey, who co-founded the band with Henley, died in 2016 and was replaced by Vince Gill. The Eagles formed in 1971 and the band has had an iconic run with six Grammys and six number-one albums.
