Bischoff’s of Teaneck is partnering with Rony’s Rockin’ Grill to reopen the beloved ice cream shop as a pop-up for take-out orders.
If business booms, Bischoff’s may reopen for good, its owner said.
“We’re good friends,” Alvarado said Thursday. “When my friend’s place was going down, we all said, ‘Oh my God, we can’t let that happen.’” Alvarado said Bischoff’s will continue to offer the ice cream and egg creams that made it famous. Alvarado said he plans to bring his restaurant’s signature burgers and sliders to Bischoff’s and offer food packages that include ice cream.
