The house made famous in 'The Brady Brunch' has sold to a new owner for $3.2 million.
"HGTV spent about $5.5M+ purchasing and building the house which is why we listed it at $5.5M even though we knew it was an aspirational list price," Brown said in a statement. "HGTV did very well with 'The Very Brady Renovation' show and several other shows and ancillary revenue streams.
HGTV had the interior of"The Brady Brunch" house renovated to match what appeared on the classic show."This is not a home that anyone would live in and savvy investors understand that Airbnb rental laws are nuanced and restrictive," Brown said.she plans on hosting charitable events and fundraisers at her new home, which she described as "a life-size dollhouse."
"The Brady Brunch" cast members reunited for HGTV's"A Very Brady Renovation" and re-created their famous photo on the central staircase."The Brady Brunch" house spans over 5,000 square feet and features a central staircase leading to an upper level, five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a full kitchen with "bright orange Formica kitchen counters" and of course, a "groovy attic," according to its listing.
"As for Lance Bass, my brother from another mother, perhaps third time's a charm?" Brown said of the singer and podcast host's dream to own the classic home.
