The supermarkets have issued warnings over products that may be unsafe to eat

Iceland and Lidl have issued urgent product recalls. Iceland Foods Ltd is recalling its Vegetable Balti Bakes due to an undeclared milk ingredient, posing a potential health risk for those with allergies or intolerances to milk or milk constituents. The recall applies to two-packs of 280g Balti Bakes with a best-before date of July 9, 2026. If you've purchased this product and have a milk allergy or intolerance, do not consume it. Instead, return it to the store for a full refund.

The recall applies to 400g tubs with a best-before date of September 29, 2024, reports Bristol Live . Lidl NI is asking customers to return the product and has been advised to reach out to relevant allergy support organisations, who will inform their members about the recall. The company has also issued a recall notice to its customers, explaining why the product is being recalled and what actions they should take if they have purchased it.
