A user on X went viral after sharing a text exchange from their brother looking to end a debate over the name of the frozen treat of ice cream between two cookies.
Your favorite summer ice cream treat may have just been recalled. More than 60 ice cream products from brands like Friendly's, Jeni's, Hershey's, Chipwich and more have been recalled due to fears they may be contaminated with listeria, according to a press release on the Food and Drug Administration’s website. The manufacturer, Totally Cool Inc., announced the massive recall on products that were shipped across the country and available at retail stores and for direct delivery.

Totally Cool Inc. initiated the recall after FDA sampling of its products turned up listeria, a bacteria that can cause an infection that can result in fever, headache, nausea, diarrhea and abdominal pain. Listeria infections tend to be more severe — and can even be fatal — among young children, older adults and those with weakened immune systems.
