The “Vampire Diaries” alum, 45, and his wife, Nikki Reed, moved to a farm just outside of Los Angeles with their two children a few years ago — and they never looked back.

Ian Somerhalder is not looking to return to the big screen anytime soon.at the Environmental Media Association Awards Gala on Saturday, the “Lost” alum was asked if he will be making a return to the entertainment industry.The “Vampire Diaries” alum, 45, and his wife, actress Nikki Reed , live on a farm just outside of Los Angeles with their two children.

“Well, I dunno, we got the rights back for V Wars, but I just don’t know how the hell we would ever make a TV show,” he added, referring to the one-season Netflix sci-fi thriller he and Reed starred in several years ago.

“It’s a beautiful thing to see what’s happening with children, to watch them participate in the growing of their food and the understanding of what food is and where it comes from.”“It’s unbelievable when you see these amazing creature life forms and how they all live on the farm together is really special,” he said at the time.“We’re farm people, we produce most of our own food,” he added. “I live in my cowboy boots.
