A tourist was stunned when he noticed an extra charge added to his bill at a Spanish seafood restaurant.The Madrid native enjoyed a fishy fest of lobster , shrimp tartar , fried baby squid , mussels , two scoops of ice cream and a few sodas and coffees.

Barbeito expressed his frustration on social media along with a photo of the receipt but did not name the restaurant.He did not want to “annoy” anyone at the restaurant but hoped an employee would recognize the ticket and advise management against charging diners for a glass of ice.The monetary value of the fee didn’t appear to be the issue for Barbeito, but rather the principle of being charged for something that’s often served for free.
