“You know I’m always down for a good after-party,” says Dua Lipa, a woman who, happily, has much to celebrate. The star is still basking in the glow of a barnstorming Grammys performance, will shortly release her third album, Training Season, and is in the first flush of new romance, with Masters of the Air star Callum Turner. The former Burberry model was her date for British Vogue’s annual Fashion & Film party in partnership with Tiffany & Co.
” Perhaps unsurprisingly, given her acrobatic efforts on that scaffolding at the Grammys, the ability to throw shapes is always a significant consideration when it comes to Dua’s party dress decision-making. The secrets to a successful look, in her view? It should be “something fun, maybe a little bit unexpected – and you’ve gotta be able to dance in it.” The lightweight diaphanous Valentino, with its simple spaghetti strap bodice and flirty feather trim, more than fit the bill.
