The mascara is usually £12 and has racked up more than 20,000 reviews from Amazon shoppers who say they 'can't believe the length' of their lashes
Beauty fans have been rushing to snap up a budget-friendly mascara that’s been reduced to almost half price as part of Amazon Prime Big Deal Days. Some have even compared the affordable product to high end alternatives like Too Faced, without the hefty price tag.
The mascara is currently down to £6.48 on Amazon, saving shoppers 46 per cent on the RRP. On CamelCamelCamel, which allows you to check the price history of products sold on Amazon, it reveals it’s previously been reduced to as little as £6.33 near Black Friday last year. Although £6.48 is the cheapest we’ve seen it this year.
Another compared it to a TooFaced mascara that retails at £25, writing: “This mascara is amazing quality - very similar to the TooFaced mascara which is far far more expensive than this one. An amazing dupe.” The packaging is nice in a metallic lilac colour, and the ‘flex tower’ brush is the plastic comb style, which is my preferred applicator compared to the bristly type. I applied one layer from root to tip and was impressed with the flexibility of the tapered wand as it worked to capture even the smallest of lashes.
My lashes looked longer than they truly are, thanks to the bamboo extract and fibres that offer weightless length and thickness, without looking all spidery. They didn’t stick together or clump up to leave me looking like a 90s throwback, nor did I get it all over my face in the application process either, which ticks some pretty big boxes for me.
