The Eras Tour movie was released in cinemas on October 13 and is screening in numerous cinemas around Belfast
As a Taylor Swift fan, I like many others have spent the past few months watching TikToks showing different concerts throughout her famous Eras Tour in America, wondering what it would be like to be in the crowd.
People took the opportunity to dress up in different outfits to represent the different eras and albums of Taylor Swift's career, from sequins for the Fearless era to plaid for the Evermore era, and eye-catching pink outfits for the Lover era. In my screening, things were a bit calmer than the TikToks you see from American film screenings, with people on their feet and dancing in the aisle from the get-go. However, looking around the room, there was a lot of singing, toe-tapping and head-bopping from the early songs onwards.
The film ended the way the concerts do, with the most recent era for the most recent album, Midnights, featuring hit songs such as Anti-Hero, Karma, and Bejeweled. It's safe to say everyone in the theatre was singing by the time we got here.
