Picture: Matt McClain/The Washington Post via Getty Images Notably, the billionaire drew criticism after he contributed $400 million to support election infrastructure during the last election in 2020, with some groups filing lawsuits over the move they claimed was partisan.
"Our position has been clear and consistent: we believe tech companies and other private actors should take into account the effects their actions have on the American people, while making independent choices about the information they present,” it said.
It also added warning labels to more than 190 million posts about the virus after third-party fact-checkers flagged them as false or lacking context.
