The average person estimates they spend more than 41 hours preparing for Christmas. The poll of 2,000 adults who celebrate yuletide found they spend on average of three-and-a-half hours shopping for food. And six hours and 42 minutes on the hunt in shops and online for the perfect presents for family and friends.
With four children , and a baby due in early December, the Australian single mom knew she would need to be prepared early if she wanted a less stressful festive season.
“I said, ‘How would you feel if I paid you to go shopping for ornaments and decorate my tree?’” she recalls.“As soon as I knew she would take care of everything from the shopping to decorating, it was a massive relief,” Krystan says. After Krystan erected the Costco 7.5 foot tree, Tamara came to the mum-of-five’s home and decorated it in just a couple of hours. Mum reveals surprising reason she takes down all Christmas decorations at 11pm on December 25 & people think it’s cute“You can’t put a cost on it because the tree has become so special to us already,” she says proudly.
